WHO WE ARE: We are an established and still rapidly growing rehabilitation facility located in the Village of Tuckahoe, New York, in southern Westchester. We provide all forms of rehabilitation and physical, occupational, and exercise therapy. We handle all forms of disability and we specialize in acutely ill patients and those recovering from orthopedic, cardiovascular, and neurologic diseases. Many of our patients require at least some kind of continuous monitoring during their sessions and we are equipped to care for up to 16 patients on telemetry at a time.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: We are advertising for an eager and motivated individual to work with our physicians, nurses, and exercise therapists, in the direct care of our patients. The candidate must have good communication skills and be comfortable working with people recovering from illnesses, injuries, and with the public in general.
REQUIREMENTS: Related professional and personal experience is absolutely required. At the very least candidates must have considerable personal experience with exercise and with physical conditioning of some kind. Candidates with formal education or experience in a health-related field such as exercise physiology, physical or occupational therapy, medical school, physical education, sports medicine, athletic training, or personal training will be given priority. Candidates with previous employment in similar or related positions will also be strongly considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities will depend on experience and capabilities. The position involves assisting with the care and rehabilitation of patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, and alterations in physical function resulting from injury, disease, or other causes; recording clinical data and progress notes; and coordinating patient care with medical staff.

Compensation is competitive and contingent upon qualifications and experience
The hours are flexible. We open for patients at 5am Monday thru Saturday and schedule our last appointments at 7pm Monday thru Thursday, 5pm on Friday, and early afternoon on Saturdays.
